About Us

Argos, the faithful dog of Odysseus, is a testimony to the love and loyalty of our four-legged companions. After 20 long years away at war, Odysseus returned home and the only one who recognized him was, you guessed it, Argos.

We all have an "Argos" in our lives. Our brand is named after this faithful dog who embodies the unconditional love of our beloved pets. As proud owners of two precious dogs, I was determined to find the best nutrition plan to give them the long and healthy lives they deserve. So the research began.

What I found was quite shocking - over the last few decades, the lifepsan of dogs has decreased significantly and the main cause of death was no longer old age, it was cancer, heart failure, or other chronic ailments. Digging a bit deeper, this trend seemed to be tied to the boom of the processed pet food industry. As with our own food, these companies were profiting from selling unhealthy and illness-causing that were shortening the lives of pets.

After coming to this realization, I was determined to do better for my dogs. I started doing extensive research on optimal pet nutrition and consulting with renowned veternerians, I cooked up a human-grade and all-natural vitamin in my kitchen and started feeding it to my dogs. Seeing the visible difference it made in their daily lives, and the science that backed the formulation, I realized there were probably many pet owners around the world who would also want to give their pets only the best.

At that point, Argos Nutraceutical was born.
